NSS Units of Multani Mal Modi College, Patiala celebrated National Fire Safety Day on 21st Jan. 2017 at the college campus. Principal Dr. Khushvinder Kumar welcomed the guests and spoke about the celebration of National Fire safety Day. S. Jatinder Singh, Fire Officer, Patiala gave a live demonstration of fire extinguishers to the NSS Volunteers and the staff members. Sh. Kaka Ram Verma, renowned Social Worker trained the NSS volunteers for the first aid to be given to the victims of fire accidents. Sh. Pawan Gupta, Social Worker, demonstrated how to inform the fire brigade department about breakout of fire at a place. NSS Volunteers participated in the demonstration and the event enthusiastically and were highly inquisitive. College NSS Programme Officers, Dr. Rajeev Sharma, Prof. (Mrs.) Jagdeep Kaur and Prof. Harmohan Sharma organized the event successfully. Staff members of the college also graced the occasion with their presence.
